1. To Chew or Grind:
We all are happy when we eat good food or the food that we like. We can see all the restaurant business always booming, why? Because we all love to eat. Missing tooth will definitely reduce the ability to chew and most common tooth to be lost is first molars which plays majority of the role in chewing. Without teeth we can’t eat bite or chew certain types of food which may be our best food. As the teeth are lost there is over load to the remaining teeth as we start overusing remaining teeth which also puts the remaining teeth at risk .This may lead to the digestion problems as the foods are swallowed without proper grinding. This means its hampering the overall health of a person. We love to eat or we can say we live to eat so take good care of teeth if missing, replace the teeth  eat better live better.

2. For Better Smile:
We all will agree that missing teeth in the front teeth area would never be appealing or attractive, definitely reducing the beauty and the personality of the person, no matter how beautiful the person would be if the teeth were not missing. And it is also important for the self confidence of a person and missing teeth would make the person over conscious all the time. Replacing the lost teeth would change the way of life and solve all these issue .Everybody wants to live a confident life and look beautiful.

3. To Speak:
Imagine you are speaking something and the person in front of you not being able to understand. Ur giving a speech and people are laughing listening to your voice which is funny. This may happen due to missing teeth. Creating sound always has a direct relation with the teeth so missing teeth may make speaking difficult. Replacing teeth will help for the better phonetics with other functions.

4. Prevent over erupting of opposing tooth:
When a tooth is extracted or missing the opposing tooth always has a tendency to over erupt as there is no antagonist tooth to support or oppose it. And when the tooth extrudes in the free space the extruding tooth itself is in risk along with the adjacent teeth as well. When the tooth extrudes there is a space created near the gums where plaque gets accumulated and leads to gingivitis as well as dental caries. Improper bite also leads to the temporomandibular joint problems.

5. To prevent bone loss:
Once the tooth is extracted for any reason the bone in that area starts to resorb , in simple words the bone is lost  as the tooth natural roots are no longer in the bone. This will increase risk to the adjacent teeth and the bone loss may change the shape of the face as well. The person may have sunken face and wrinkles more prominent in some areas

6. Shifting of the teeth:
Once the teeth are lost, adjacent teeth always has a tendency of moving towards the free space as there will be more biting force shifting to the remaining teeth and the remaining teeth will start moving towards the missing teeth space .So there may be mesial or distal drift of the teeth which may lead to the improper occlusion that may also lead to the temporomandibular joint problems. And the space created by the shifting also leads to the food lodgment increasing the risk of Dental caries and gum disease.
